SAN PEDRO, CA— Further validating her status as the number one choice for working people in the race for Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors District 4, today United States Representative Janice Hahn secured a highly coveted endorsement from the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) United Healthcare Workers (UHW). Previously, Rep. Hahn won a sought-after endorsement from SEIU Local 721.

In announcing their support of Rep. Hahn, SEIU United Healthcare Workers' member, Evelia Rodriguez, who is a Kaiser Permanente worker, released the following statement:

"SEIU United Healthcare Workers are pleased to announce our enthusiastic support of United States Representative Janice Hahn for Los Angeles County Supervisor District 4. Throughout her career, as a local Councilwoman and member of Congress, Janice has been on the front-lines, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with working men and women, advocating for an end to poverty by promoting livable wages and minimum wage increases, protections for workers' rights, and expanding access to healthcare. We know she'll continue her tradition of serving as a champion for California's working people on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors."
