SAN PEDRO, CA— Cementing her status as the consensus candidate among many local public safety groups, today Rep. Janice Hahn secured an endorsement from the Long Beach Police Officers Association (LBPOA).
An endorsement from the Long Beach Police Officers Association (LBPOA) represents a significant victory for Rep. Janice Hahn, particularly because the City has over 255,000 registered voters and it’s the single largest City that is completely within the 4th Supervisorial district.
In announcing the organization’s support, LBPOA President Steve Jamesreleased the following statement:
“The Long Beach Police Officers Association is pleased to announce our support of Janice Hahn for L.A. County Supervisor. Janice has a long history of prioritizing public safety, from the L.A. City Council to her work on the Homeland Security Committee in Congress. We know she’ll be a strong partner with us as the 4th district’s next representative at the County.”
In response to the endorsement, Rep. Janice Hahn stated:
“I want to thank the Long Beach Police Officers Association for their courageous commitment to fighting crime and keeping Long Beach neighborhoods safe. Their tireless work is what keeps local communities safe, allows businesses to thrive and for families to have a good quality of life. I really appreciate their support and look forward to working with them on my campaign and beyond.”
In addition to LBPOA, Rep. Janice Hahn has earned the following public safety organizational endorsements:
- Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs (ALADS)
