LONG BEACH CITY PROSECUTOR CALLS JANICE HAHN “TOP PICK FOR PUBLIC SAFETY”

SAN PEDRO, CA— Further cementing her standing as public safety’s choice for Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors District 4, today United States Representative Janice Hahn landed a formidable endorsement from Long Beach City Prosecutor Doug Haubert.

In announcing his endorsement of Rep. Hahn, Long Beach City Prosecutor Doug Haubert released the following statement:

“Janice Hahn is the top pick for public safety in the race for County Supervisor District 4. She’s got a track record on combatting crime and gangs, and improving neighborhoods. From her work on the L.A. City Council establishing community-based policing strategies for the Watts Gang Task Force to her service on the Homeland Security Committee in the House of Representatives, Janice has made public safety a top priority. She'll do the same as the 4th District’s next County Supervisor. I’m proud to endorse Janice Hahn.”

Beyond endorsements, United States Representative Janice Hahn’s campaign released a poll which shows her leading her closest competitor by a whopping 23-points.

Conducted by one of California’s premier opinion research firms, Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin, Metz & Associates, the poll surveyed 500 likely voters fromDecember 10th through December 16th. Results from the poll place Rep. Janice Hahn with a substantial lead over her rivals in the race for Los Angeles County Supervisor:

Janice Hahn— 34%
Steve Napolitano— 11%
Mike Gin— 7%
Undecided— 48% 

Interestingly, in a head-to-head match up against Napolitano, Hahn leads 39% to his mere 18%, with 43% remaining undecided.
