SAN PEDRO, CA— Outperforming the rest of the field in fundraising in the contest to fill Los Angeles County’s 4th Supervisorial District seat, today the Janice Hahn for Supervisor campaign announced that it raised a substantial $331,448 in total for the June Primary election and has $279,716 cash on hand. The campaign received a total of 570 contributions.
“Representative Janice Hahn’s robust fundraising report cements her status as the top fundraiser in the race for the 4th District seat," said Dave Jacobson, Hahn campaign spokesperson. "It also shows that we are well on track to raise the money needed to be successful next June. Combined with her back-to-back endorsement winning streak among business and labor groups, women's organizations, environmentalists, Democrats and Republicans, neighborhood leaders and grassroots activists, Rep. Hahn definitely has the wind at her back."
Rep. Janice Hahn raised more than double what her competitor Steve Napolitano raised and slightly less than three times what Mike Gin raised.
Since the inception of her campaign, Rep. Hahn has been on a roll, securing far-reaching support from the Sierra Club, National Womens Political Caucus (NWPC) Los Angeles County, the Los Angeles County Democratic Party (LACDP), former Republican Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan, and a wide-range of other leaders and organizations.
