SAN PEDRO, CA— In another display of the energy and enthusiasm behind her candidacy, today Rep. Janice Hahn picked up several new endorsements from local leaders in the cities of Santa Fe Springs and Norwalk, as well as from the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District and Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District.
Those endorsing Rep. Janice Hahn today include:
- Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District Board of Education President Jesse Urquidi
- Hacienda La Puente Unified School District Board of Education Vice President Penny Fraumeni
- City of Norwalk City Council Member Cheri Kelley
- City of Santa Fe Springs Mayor Pro-Tem Richard Moore
Responding to news of the endorsements, Rep. Janice Hahn released the following statement:
“I really appreciate this support and confidence that Board President Jesse Urquidi, Board Vice President Penny Fraumeni, Council Member Cheri Kelley, and Mayor Pro-Tem Richard Moore have placed in my candidacy. Their endorsements are the culmination of my hard work crisscrossing the district, developing key partnerships and earning their support. I am excited to be working closely with them in my campaign. I know that if I’m given the honor of serving on the Board of Supervisors that we’ll be strong allies and we'll get things done for neighborhoods in their cities and all across the 4th district."
Earlier this week Rep. Janice Hahn won a coveted endorsement from the Long Beach Police Officers Association (LBPOA).
Since first entering the race for County Supervisor, Rep. Hahn has earned wide-ranging support from local, state, and federal leaders, grassroots activists, environmentalists, small business owners, business organizations, working men and women, public safety groups, and community leaders.
