HAHN RAKES-IN NEW ENDORSEMENTS FROM RESPECTED STATE LAWMAKERS

Current & Former State Assembly Members Reggie Jones-Sawyer, Autumn Burke, Mike Gipson & Steve Bradford Join Team Hahn

SAN PEDRO, CA— On the heels of securing a high-profile countywide endorsement from Los Angeles County Assessor Jeffrey Prang, today United States Representative Janice Hahn rolled out a wave of new endorsements from widely respected current and former State Assembly Members, including:

  • State Assembly Member & Chair of California Legislative Black Caucus Reggie Jones-Sawyer
  • State Assembly Member Autumn Burke
  • State Assembly Member Mike Gipson
  • State Assembly Member Steve Bradford (Ret.)

Responding to news of the endorsements, Rep. Janice Hahn remarked:

“I really appreciate this support from Assembly Members Jones-Sawyer, Burke, Gipson and Bradford. Together, we all share an agenda that focuses on social and economic justice, equality, strengthening the middle class and a better, more sustainable Southern California for everyone. That means addressing income inequality, improving our local neighborhood schools, investing more in renewable energy, conserving more water, expanding access to healthcare, enhancing care for our returning veterans, and addressing the increasing epidemic of homelessness. I look forward to partnering with these leaders on my campaign and continuing to do so on these issues in the weeks and months ahead.”

In addition to today's announcement and this week's endorsement from L.A. County Assessor Jeffrey Prang, Rep. Hahn has earned support from a majority of the sitting members of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, including Hilda Solis, Sheila Kuehl, and Mark Ridley-Thomas. Hahn was also previously endorsed by former County Supervisor Yvonne Burke.

Recently, Rep. Hahn rolled out a comprehensive list of over 400 endorsements including Democrats and Republicans, labor and business, grassroots activists and neighborhood leaders, women's organizations and a host of other leaders and groups.
