SAN PEDRO, CA— Capping off a successful week on the campaign trail, today United States Representative Janice Hahn won a key endorsement from the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) United Service Workers West (USWW) in her bid to represent Los Angeles County’s 4th District on the Board of Supervisors.
Responding to news of the endorsement, Rep. Hahn released the following statement:
“It’s extraordinarily rewarding to have the support of SEIU USWW. Throughout my career, I’ve always fought to make sure that nobody who works a full time job and plays by the rules should live in poverty. That’s why I’ve been a longtime partner with SEIU USWW in the effort to reduce income inequality, increase the minimum wage and protect workers’ rights. I’m honored to count SEIU USWW among my top supporters.
