BONIN SAYS HAHN IS “MOST QUALIFIED” CANDIDATE FOR SUPERVISOR

SAN PEDRO, CA— Continuing to pick up steam in the race for Los Angeles County Supervisor district 4, today Rep. Janice Hahn received a valuable endorsement from Los Angeles City Councilman Mike Bonin.

As the representative for Los Angeles’ 11th Council District, City Councilman Mike Bonin’s district overlaps with the northern part of the 4th Supervisorial District, including the neighborhoods of Playa del Rey and Westchester. Councilman Bonin also serves as Chair of the City Council's Transportation Committee, and is a board member of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

“I’ve always admired Janice Hahn for her fearlessness, boldness, and passion for excellence in public service. She is by far the most qualified and best prepared candidate to serve the neighborhoods of the 4th District on the Board of Supervisors. Janice and I share a common agenda of working to advance a range of important causes, like promoting social justice issues, increasing the minimum wage, curbing pollution and advocating for smart mass transit projects. I am pleased to give her my wholehearted endorsement.”

Today’s announcement follows yesterday’s news that 4th Supervisorial district based State Senator Tony Mendoza had endorsed Rep. Janice Hahn.

Earlier this week, Rep. Janice Hahn earned a key public safety endorsement from the Los Angeles County Deputy Probation Officers (AFSCME) Local 685 as well as support from two 4th Supervisorial district based former State lawmakers: Al Muratsuchi and George Nakano.
